Leaf Margins
Open page margins, small leaves near the edge, and the negative space that makes a frame breathe. The writing should stay close to what can be seen on the surface: paper tone, dry edges, soft shadow, quiet spacing, and the small frame around the object.
Start with the margin.
For Ivymora, the open space around the detail is part of the subject. A single leaf, stem, label, or card should have enough room to feel intentional.
Let paper and shadow do the work.
Instead of explaining what the object is, describe how it sits on the page: the dry edge, the pale shadow, the fold line, the small label, or the soft desk light.
Keep it safe and visual.
This is a visual archive, not a botanical guide. Captions should not identify species, recommend use, explain collection, or teach preservation.
